Title: Ascensionist

Gender: Male

Location: Philadelphia United States

About Me:

Hello, my name is Dathane , a practicing  Ascensionist and I am not alone. Others are out there as they look around this constructed materialist addiction called American consumerism. As they watch their children drink in the commercials which equate their sense of self with the products they own. Many, far too many, parents fight a losing battle against the advertising machine with their billion dollar budgets and their psychological experts whose goal is to create a buyer of certain brands from birth until death. These parents, many material addicts themselves, at the end of their lives discover that the family, those friends and the development mentally, physically, and spiritually the self is what matters in life. They watch their media savvy kids boxed into the consumerist paradigm of more and more stuff without investment in the internal stuff of personal wisdom, balance, maturity, and “unpurchase-able” fullfillment.

We live in the only first-world country with a healthcare system that equates life-with-profit. Unlike other countries which have universal healthcare (like our fire department, police department, library, etc), we have a fee-for-treatment system that places value on your physical well-being. Healthcare companies, which looks to ways to cut your policy, become profit-based rather than helping institutions. What a sorry way of being in the world. We need to support HR 676 (Universal Healthcare) so we can take another step closer of being a 'civilized' society of heart and soul and not of the wallet.

Tell me that I am not alone.

As the capital venturist peers outside his/her window to see a world gone mad. Where mediocrity weighs more if it means higher profitability. Where he stops to consider if the capitalist machine which created the corporation (whose industrial wastes and byproducts are the very reason that we see an increase of cancers and diseases during the 20th and 21st centuries) is choking the very life out of the American dream. That really, deep in his or her being, they long for the revolution of mindset. A 2nd renaissance which principles replace products. That products are inconsequential in the end. That it is cheered by all when business pushes the noble agenda of sustainability and zero footprint environmentally and socially. Products with meaning that flourishes life not hinder it. I know that I am not alone. There are others.

And we grit through the longsuffering before the igniting of the revolution. We must wait until those materialists transform or die off. When technology makes resources abundant giving collective humankind the means to travel up Maslow's pyramid Those people who long for power because it feeds their ego and ensures their seed. We wait for the Ascended Ones. The Enlightened who do not do for money but for fullfillment. We wait for the transformed us who savors their local culture while connecting with others under the spirit of personal transformation. That we enjoy our differences, but see them gifts of being able to add to the well being of the human race and not a reason to dominate others in it. I know I am not alone. Their are others who are like me. The revolution is coming ….
